MISSION
J.T. Kerr Memorial Baptist Church takes its inspiration from Ezekiel 34:16 “I will seek the lost, and I will bring back the strayed. . ."
Oh how easy it is to get lost! With our cell phones and iPads, our 24-hour news cycles, there’s virtually nowhere to go for a moment of peace and quiet.
The J.T. Kerr Missionary Baptist Church is a local body of Christian believers who seek to empower the mind and body of the people of Jacksonville, North Carolina and its surrounding areas.

OUR BELIEFS
We Believe…
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost.
The Bible is the inspired word of God and the church is the biblical standard for impacting the world.
Salvation through reconciliation to God.
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.
In water baptism by immersion.
Everything we do must glorify God.
Every member ought to be connected to the vision and the visionary which are both ordained by God.
The word of God is the standard for both the family and the nation.
The principles of tithing according to Malachi 3:10 and other forms of giving as established by the word of God.
